The Redwood Area Development Corporation and the Redwood Falls Port Authority work together for economic, community, and industrial development!

The RADC staff administer both Downtown Revolving Loan fund and the Redwood Falls Revolving Loan fund for the city of Redwood Falls. The application forms and brochures are available for your review  here!

Redwood Falls Port Authority

The Redwood Falls Port Authority, as the city's economic development arm, consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor and City Council. 

  • The Port Authority is responsible for planning, guiding, directing, and implementing the city's overall economic development plan.
  • Updated in 1995, this 25-year plan is the city's "roadmap" for growth and development. It describes current and projected land uses, transportation and utility development, as well as public facility needs.
  • The comp plan is the city's backdrop for publicity policy decisions to insure quality and healthy growth and development for residents and businesses.
  • The Redwood Falls Port Authority also operates a revolving loan program that assists with business start-ups and expansions and brings together a wide variety of resources specifically tailored to help all types of businesses through several business assistance programs. 
  • Keith Muetzel, Redwood Falls City Administrator is the Executive Director of the Port Authority.
