Monuments and Tablets

These monuments were erected prior to 1902 in the horse and buggy days, prior to the mass production of the automobile.  It is probably one of the oldest “history/tourism trails” west of the Mississippi, but one were only a handful of Minnesotans have ever viewed all of these monuments because of the remoteness of the Redwood Ferry Monument (see page 28).

"Living in the Cities for four years made me appreciate the kind of lifestyle the rural area has to offer.  It is a wonderful place to raise a family, and people are not too busy to wave when passing by or just stop to visit.  I felt a strong desire to bring a form of quality of healthcare back to this area."
