The Minnesota Investment Fund Grant Program is designed to address critical economic development needs throughout the State of Minnesota. The program is administered by the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development. Grants are awarded to communities to help them meet local economic development needs by providing low interest loans to businesses planning expansions.  As of  February 4, 2015, jobs created through MIF must be paid a minimum of $12.82 in total compensation, up from $12.61 in 2014.
