    RADC Supports six communities

    Learn more about the Redwood Area Development Corporation (RADC) and how it supports the six member communities:

    The RADC is made up of six unique member communities: Belview, Clements, the Lower Sioux Indian Community, Lucan, Seaforth, and Wabasso. In Part One of this two-part series, we shared just some of the special qualities found in three of these communities: the Lower Sioux Indian Community, Lucan, and Wabasso. 

    Now, in part two we’re shining a spotlight on Belview, Clements, and Seaforth, three incredible communities in the Redwood Area.

    The Redwood Area Communities Foundation: A Core Supporter of the Community

    The Redwood Area Communities Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit entity organized for the welfare and benefit of Redwood County residents and organizations. The RACF’s focus is on those who live or have their principal place of business in Redwood County or within a 10 mile radius. The RACF was established in 1988. 

    Redwood Area Communities Foundation works hand in hand with the Redwood Area Development Corporation to improve the quality of life for local communities and their residents, to benefit public school districts and any charitable organizations operating in Redwood County and to provide scholarships and loans to students living here.

    RADC Offers Grant Writing Expertise

    RADC Offers Grant Writing Expertise:

    Nonprofits and small municipalities often rely on grant funding to accomplish their missions and keep up with important infrastructure and public works projects. Since 1990, the Redwood Area Development Corporation (RADC) has offered grant writing services to area towns and nonprofits. Services are tailored to each client and their specific needs.

    "Our approach is that the entity is the expert in the subject matter, and we’re providing expertise to help them be successful with the grant application process."

    Students living or attending school in Redwood County who want to pursue higher education have an incredible opportunity to apply for an interest-free loan from The Martin & Winifred Ehlers Student Loan Fund, a division of the Redwood Area Communities Foundation.
