Redwood Area Development Corporation (RADC) Launches New Website to Help “Build Better Businesses for the Redwood Area”

Redwood Falls, MN: Redwood Area Development Corporation (RADC) recently launched a new and completely redesigned website to make it easier for visitors to find the information they need as well as to feature what makes the Redwood Area such a great place to live and do business. 

Formed in 1986, the RADC represents the communities and businesses in economic and community development and understands the importance of retaining and expanding existing businesses in the local communities as well as attracting new businesses. 

To develop and design the site, RADC partnered with Golden Shovel Agency, a national economic development communications firm recognized for its award-winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction. 

“Navigating the economic development industry requires strong relationships and successful collaboration.  Golden Shovel is honored to partner with RADC and to help support an economic development leader,” says Ron Kresha, Golden Shovel Agency’s COO and CFO.

The two organizations worked in tandem on the design and flow of the site. 

“The project went very smoothly. Golden Shovel was able to take my ideas and make them whole”, says Raven All Runner, RADC’s Program Manager. “In addition, they were communicative, collaborative and quick to adapt to any changes we wanted.”  

All Runner says it was important that the site has an area to highlight the successes of community members and businesses.  “People love reading new things happening in our area. One of the top stories published was about Tony Madsen of NewLeaf Financial Guidance, a young entrepreneur who moved back to the Redwood Area to start his own advisory practice.”

The new site also highlights many other services that the RADC provides, such as grant writing, access to scholarships/interest-free loans for higher education, and the Redwood Area Communities Foundation.
