One year after reopening, Knottā€™s Corner in Lucan still going strong

Nearly two years after a devastating fire closed Knott’s Corner Bar & Grill located on Main Street in Lucan, it reopened in August 2016 completely remodeled.

After a year of determination and hard work Anna Knott and her team are happy to be back in business and serving the community.

“I’m simply happy to be open,” said Knott. Knott, an area native, earned a degree in hotel and restaurant management and purchased the restaurant in 2014 along with her husband Jonathan.

Knott, who worked in the space previously known as the BrauHaus, took ownership of the site and set out to continue and expand on the previous establishment’s strong reputation of excellence and service.

Upon taking ownership Knott started putting her education and experience to use with a focus on updates to the menu and dining area. In August 2015 Knott’s Corner Bar & Grill was crippled by an electrical fire. Not allowing the setback to deter Knott and her determination, she jumped right into the process of bringing back an even better bar and grill.
